Natural or Artifact

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could live in a world of freedom where we could breathe fresh air without the need of nasal spray? Wouldn’t it be wonderful to walk barefoot in the grass without corn pads? Wouldn’t it be wonderful to keep one’s cool all day without the use of prozac?
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to walk with one’s head held high without a neck brace? Wouldn’t it be wonderful to be happy-go-lucky without a Valium? Wouldn’t it be wonderful to be vibrant and strong at 70 without Metamucil #1, #2, #3, and #4? Wouldn’t it be wonderful to be ready for a good night’s sleep without the aid of Sominex?
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to live with all your organs and glands without fear of losing them through operations? Wouldn’t it be wonderful to face life and every new day with a smile and much enthusiasm?
We have lived too long in the shadow of our own ignorance and fears. We should live in the land of bright sunlight like a skylark. We must cleanse our body of nerve interference and allow ourselves to achieve more of our human potential. Under care of the straight chiropractor, this can and would be accomplished. Then, and only then, can we improve the functions of our body by allowing the flow of mental impulse through our nerve system to be uninterrupted from above-down-inside-out. Perhaps a life in a world of coordination and peace begins with ourselves first.
Chiropractic is a method allowing the body to normally assert its own inherent natural functions. Are you familiar with the term “natural functions”? You know, the repairing, healing and restoring back to normal of the human body are natural functions. Some other natural functions of a normally functioning body are: complete reparation of wounds, successful healing and mending of fractures, proficiently warding off environmental germs, normalization of emotional strain, and resisting invading foreign organisms.
If your natural functions are not up to par, if the various normal internal mechanisms involved are impaired or interfered with, then we recognize that you are not expressing your innate potential and that you are in a state of dis-ease (malfunction and in coordination) and may eventually, given time, develop signs, symptoms, pain and even an untimely death.
The straight chiropractor understands the principles of natural body functions and is concerned in locating, analyzing and correcting interferences to these natural body functions. These interferences are called vertebral subluxations.
Chiropractic has built a philosophy, science and art around correction of vertebral subluxations based on a definite set of principles to follow in order to achieve the understanding of the ultimate importance and priority of correcting vertebral subluxations. Straight Chiropractors concern themselves thoroughly and exclusively with the application of those principles.
By consistently and persistently checking the spines of people for the presence of vertebral subluxations and correcting them, the straight chiropractor helps people to express more of their innate potential and allows their natural functions to be normalized at the greatest and highest level of proficiency available today.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to learn to live in freedom and knowledge rather than in bondage and ignorance of what is truly good for us?
